Holiday Gifting - Shop Local, Shop American: Christmas Ornaments

I'm always a little hesitant to buy people Christmas themed items for Christmas, because once the holiday is over they get put away. And a lot of them are knick knacks or corny. How many kitchen towels with elves and bells on them do you need?

But I think an ornament is the exception because ornaments become treasured memories of years gone by that are used and appreciated every year. I have ones from when I was a baby, really ugly ones that my I made with my Mom, and super old ones from my grandparents' trees that are priceless to me.

I personally collect ornaments and have them from all over the place. But I don't want plastic or other junk that's made in a factory. I prefer handmade, locally made, and natural materials.

These ornaments from Wendell August are perfect!

West Side Market is perfect for your favorite foodie!
Tuck it into a basket of goodies you purchase at the market, add a bottle of wine and it will be a much appreciated gift.

For the Browns fan First Energy Stadium.
Be sure to package with some stadium mustard and a box of tissues.

I'm a sucker for Rudolph, aren't you? It's part of a 3 piece set.

Euclid Beach Park is full of nostalgia. Add to a basket of popcorn balls for a sweet treat.

Perfect for the CLE fan on your list

I can't resist - here's a couple more:
This one has How To instructions on the back.
Wouldn't this be a great addition to some homemade or gourmet cocoa mix and marshmallows? Maybe add a bottle of Kahlua :)
How about a Christmas Pickle?
If you don't want to buy ornaments, they have a lot of other items available such as picture frames, jewelry, serving trays, etc.
