Cleveland is known for great food, and our pies don't disappoint either. Here are my favorite pies in the CLE.
Rood Food & Pie
There is a reason pie is in their name - Rood is crafting some of the best pies I've ever tasted. They are famous for the Salt + Honey but the Baklava pie will rock your world. Imagine a pecan pie without all the goo. SO GOOD!
Mitchell's Homemade Ice Cream
Besides making some of the best ice cream around, Mitchell's also offers ice cream pies. Choose from five tantalizing flavors:
- Cookies and Cream
- Mint Chocolate
- Black Raspberry Chocolate
- Chocolate Peanut Butter
- Turtle
Order ahead so you aren't left empty handed.
The Sweet Fix
Pineapple Supreme is unique and fantastic, but don't miss the Sweet Potato Pie when it's being offered.
Farkas Pastry Shoppe
While not technically pie, their Napoleons are to die for. Picture light vanilla custard and real whipped cream layered between two sheets of hand-crafted puff pastry...and it's even better than it sounds! Don't miss the pumpkin napoleons in the fall for the ultimate pumpkin experience.
The Three Aprons
You'll have to find them at farmer's markets and pop ups but it's worth it. Get the peach pie, trust me! They also make amazing liege waffles, tarts, cakes, quiche and more.
