Eat*Drink*Cleveland

A hungry girl's adventures in Cleveland and beyond.

One of my favorite holidays is Memorial Day. Maybe because my birthday is always around that time. Or maybe because there's always a ton of parties. Or because it's the start of summer.

What better way to kick off summer then to head to the Marc's Great American Rib Cook-Off and Music Festival. A Cleveland tradition for 23 years, it's a delicious way to enjoy the long weekend.
Hours of Festival

•Friday, May 23 - 12:00 pm - 11:00pm

•Saturday, May 24 12:00pm - 11:00pm
•Sunday, May 25 12:00pm - 11:00pm
•Monday, May 26 (Memorial Day) 12:00pm - 8:00pm

Event highlights include:

· Sizzling entertainment from The Spazmatics and Disco Inferno, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Taking Back Sunday, Blackberry Smoke, Steve Broderick & The 100 Watt Suns and Dylan Scott, along with dozens of regional bands performing on two stages throughout the weekend

· Professional grilling teams from across the country will engage in a fierce culinary battle

· Five rookie barbecue chefs will participate in the annual Marc’s Amateur Grilling Competition, competing against defending champion Paul Wood

·  Kids activities and more!

Several discounts are also being offered to make the Rib Cook-Off a fun, budget-friendly outing. Friday is Dollar Day with adult general admission only $1 and admission is FREE on Saturday and Sunday until 3 p.m. Attendees can also save $2 Saturday, Sunday and Monday on adult general admission tickets with discount coupons available at all Northeast Ohio Marc’s locations. In addition, during the Rib Cook-Off weekend an additional opportunity to save $5 off adult and children’s general admission to the Greater Cleveland Aquarium will be available with a coupon from Marc’s.

And thanks to Marc's,  I have THREE 4-packs of admission tickets to give away to my readers!
